SECOND EDITION - COLLECTORS ISSUE 2001
This amazing 2 collector's issue features the work of Northern California painter Cheryl Yambrach Rose - "Many of my paintings are the result of what I've seen on the soul level , pure and unsullied. Whether young or old, everyone is so radiant and beautiful in that form. I begin with the eyes, as they are truly mirrors of the soul, and spiral out from that focal point". Her detailed paintings reflect the soul and its moods. There is an in-depth interview about her work.

Also featured in this issue is Joel Hobbie from New Mexico. Joel's metal sculptures will leave the viewer breathless as he intertwines the organic with the mechanic - "The struggle of the fluid steel organisms, bulbous pods , and the machines that bind them together is called Industrial organics".

Also included:
Ryon Gesink quote - "In my work here I very self-consciously play about in a somewhat old fashioned, montage way with scientific, anatomical and technological iconography in order to create what I call techno-visceral diagrams'

Jeff Monje - Surrealist works and realism. "Life is the surreal part of the dream we all exist in".

Tom Bentley - Short story "On Vacation with Irene". Tom Bentley is associated with developing and producing work by new Canadian playwrights and is the founder of the Saskatoon International Fringe theatre festival. Tom has recently come out with his new great book called "Blind Man's Drum"

Also featured is a short story by David Cassell called "Circle of ten". Dave was from the very beginning a great friend and awesome artist. He has supported CHURN from the beginning.
