A Summary of What We Know On Vaping

Recently we’ve seen a new narrative pushed against vaping that claims nearly two thirds of all vapers still smoke cigarettes. While they don’t seem to be able to clarify if it’s having one cigarette here or there, the way they are pushing the story is that they regularly smoke cigarettes and vape. We’re not convinced of this data and quite frankly it doesn’t add up with the people we know who vape. The stories are also pushing a narrative that people who never smoked are vaping at high numbers which is widely contradicted in our article titled EU Study Finds Very Few Vapers Never Smoked which you can check out for yourself.

So, we want to hear from you on if you vape and smoke cigarettes and if so, how often do you smoke cigarettes? Most people we’ve heard from that are vapers, not someone who just tried it, completely switched from smoking. They claim to feel better than ever and regained smell and many other benefits from it.

We’ve seen countless studies too on how vaping in better for you than smoking. While it’s not allowed to be marketed that way, we have quite a bit of scientific or medical professional backed stories to share with you. So, we’re going to use this post as one to some of the reasons to switch to vaping that we’ve covered.

We aren’t arguing that vaping is good for you to just take up as a hobby. We’re arguing that scientific research backs that it can be much better for you than smoking and has the potential to save a billion lives if we open our ears and listen. The smear campaigns could be costing real people their lives. When you see someone sharing info against vaping, we’re arming you with data here to demonstrate some alternative thinking.

I quit smoking 5 yrs ago because of a health issue. I smoked for 40+ years. Started vaping because I was tempted to smoke again. I have not smoked even one cigarette in those 5 years. I am so glad that vaping helped me to never smoke again. If you smoke give vaping a try, it may help get you off cigarettes. If you never smoked don’t start. It is a terrible habit.

I started smoking in college in 1999, mainly because all the kids were doing it, at the campus, at parties. It was a way to be silently rebellious. Fast forward to 2012. I was recruiting duty for the US Marine Corps, I started to get concerned about my health, I was running slower, out of breathe quicker, and it took me longer to recover from my daily workouts. I picked up a cigalike “Logic” 2.8% Nic menthol. It was awesome and working at first for a few weeks. It was expensive compared to a pac of cig’s mainly cause it didn’t actually last all day like it advertised. Needless to say I went back and forth cigalike one day analog the next. I did that until 2015, May 15th. During that time I didn’t improve health wise, but for sure didn’t get worse. In May 2015 I bought my first Mod, I used it for 1 year and 3 months, it finally died on me. I bought a newer more advanced Mod but this time it was much cheaper but had all the latest bells and whistles. Haven’t had an analog since 2015. My health improved drastically in less than 9 months I have shaved over 2 mins off my 3mile run time, I can catch my breathe within 1-2 mins after a hard work out, and I recover from my workouts so much quicker. Literally Vaping has restored my youthfulness. If it weren’t for vaping my military career, I whole heartedly believe, would have been over sooner than I planned. I’ve been an active duty now for 13.5 Yrs and prospects for retiring at 20 yrs look better than ever.
