The new Freemax Fireluke 2 provides insane flavor thanks to the innovative XN coils.

Freemax has been relatively quiet the last couple of years, but they’re ready to make waves once again with their latest creation, the Fireluke 2 Sub-Ohm Tank. Some had begun to worry that Freemax was out of the vaping game entirely, but this latest high-quality tank proves they haven’t lost a step.

The Fireluke 2 Sub-Ohm tank is one of the best and most innovative devices of the year, taking lessons from around the industry to create something greater than the sum of its parts. This exceptional little device provides some of the best flavor I’ve ever had thanks to its top-quality coils.

Freemax is ready to reclaim their title as a leader in advanced vaping technology, and high-level vapers around the world are rejoicing. That said, if you’re new to vaping you may not have any idea what you’re missing out on. So let’s take a deeper look at what the Freemax Fireluke 2 brings to the table.

Specs and Features

Designed for use with the Freemax Twister, the Fireluke 2 Sub-Ohm tank is also a great stand-alone tank, featuring a sizeable 5ml capacity. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel and durable glass, the Fireluke 2 also utilizes some simple techniques to improve the flavor provided dramatically.

It accomplishes this by widening, and reducing the length of the shaft. This has a surprising impact on the clarity of the flavor, as well as providing more vapor at once. However, because of this, the Fireluke 2 has a bubble design. I happen to like the look of this, but that’s really a matter of taste.

It comes with an all-new TX2 0.2-ohm mesh coil pre-installed, which is rated for use between 40-80W. The Firemax 2 also comes with an extra TX1 0.15-ohm mesh coil, rated for between 40-90W. These exceptional coils are some of the best on the market, rivaling other top-quality devices such as the SMOK TFV8. You can even use your M Coils from the original Fireluke.

But where the Fireluke really shines next to the competition is providing a 360-degree e-liquid feeding system which consistently offers exceptional flavor. The Fireluke 2 can be easily filled via the large top-fill ports, mainly thanks to their patented slide-to-open design on the top fill door.

It also features two massive airflow slots situated on the base of the device. I’ve rarely seen larger airflow holes on a tank, but don’t take that as a bad thing. The settings were very easy to adjust, and when fully open it packed a wild punch.

Your purchase of the Freemax Fireluke 2 comes with a 0.2 ohm TX2 coil pre-installed, an extra 0.15 ohm TX1 coil, 5ml Bubble Pyrex tube, user manual, and spare O-rings. You can get you Fireluke 2 in one of 13 different vibrant color and design options. Regardless of which one you pick, you’re going to love your new sub-ohm tank.

My Experience With The Fireluke 2

I had a great time using the Freemax Fireluke 2. One of the things that caught my attention right away was the exceptional airflow provided. This combined with the excellent flavor offered by their new coils, and the Fireluke 2 has quickly become one of my go-to tanks.

That said, the biggest pro of the new Fireluke has got to be the incredible new TX1 and TX2 coils it offers. Not only are these coils only made from exceptionally high-quality materials, but their 360-degree feeding technology means the flavor is as consistent as possible.

I particularly appreciated making the Fireluke 2 compatible with all the great Fireluke M coils from the original Fireluke tank. They had a wide range of different options and styles available, so being able to still use them in this new device is a significant plus.

I also really appreciated how easy they’d made it to fill your tank thanks to their proprietary sliding lid technology. Not only does it keep things completely leak-free, but makes it as easy as ever to stay topped up.

Slide-to-open Freemax Fireluke 2 Top

However, while there aren’t many flaws with the Freemax Fireluke 2, it isn’t completely perfect. For starters, the unique bubble glass design, while serving a valuable purpose, does make the tank a lot easier to break than more traditionally shaped glass tubes.

All it really takes is an awkward drop on the wrong surface to produce a crack. However, that doesn’t mean it’s particularly fragile either. They’ve done an excellent job of ensuring that most everyday mistakes won’t cause a critical failure.

The only other real downside to the Fireluke 2 is something that was also an issue for the original Fireluke, in that it doesn’t support temperature controls. While this doesn’t make a massive difference for most vapers, those who value temperature control over variable wattage will likely see this as a significant downside to the Fireluke 2.

Conclusion

I can say with confidence that after just a few weeks of using the Freemax Fireluke 2, it’s easily one of my favorite new tanks in a long time. Not only do the brand new TX coils really deliver, but the overall design is a testament to how much time and effort Freemax puts into their devices.

Anyone who is on the market for a high-quality sub-ohm tank, who doesn’t value temperature controls, should seriously consider giving the Fireluke 2 a try. I don’t often suggest tanks for virtually everyone, but I find it hard to believe most vapers wouldn’t get some benefit from this exceptional and affordable new tank.

They usually cost around $54.00 MSRP, but right now you can get yours for as little as $35.99. If you’ve ever considered taking the dive and buying a new high-quality sub-ohm tank, be sure to check out what the Freemax Fireluke 2 has to offer. There has never been a better time than now!
