Innokin iTaste 134 Mod Review

Innokin Itaste 134 mod review 5

The Innokin iTaste 134 had already generated lot of buzz before it was even officially released. Innokin is well known for creating some incredible variable voltage mods and the iTaste 134 is no exception. This mod is definitely not for the faint of heart. It’s large and bulky, but it offers an incredible vape. Before I tried this model, I had never used a mod that only offered variable wattage so I was a little hesitant. But the good news is that his device converted me. It offered the perfect vape customized just the way I like it.

First Impressions

The first thing I noticed about this mod was its size. It is really huge compared to a lot of other models. It has a cool design with metal bars surrounding the body of the device. This actually makes it easier to grip and despite its bulk, it feels comfortable in your hand.

Using the iTaste 134 does take a little practice, but it’s well worth the effort. To adjust the wattage, you turn the ring that sits between the battery and the upper controls. It’s set up similar to the design on the eGo Twist although much larger. The dial clicks in .5 watt increments so you can get a really accurate setting. One slight downside is that the indicator markings are a little difficult to see especially if you are vaping in low lighting.

Just like the iTaste MVP, this device has a battery indicator light on the button. It glows green to show when the power level is nearly full, yellow shows it is half charged, and red means it’s time to recharge. This is a nice feature so that you can instantly see your battery level at a glance.

Pros and Cons

After taking the Innokin iTaste 134 for a test drive, I was really impressed with its performance. You can set wattage from 6.5 to 12.5 giving you a wide range to play with until you get the power that suits your vaping style. The vapor production was superior to a lot of mods I’ve tried and overall, it was a good vape.

The iTaste 134 comes with the iClear 30 atomizer and a beauty ring that can be removed if you prefer the ego clearomizers instead. This gives you plenty of versatility, which is something I appreciate.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Innokin iTaste 134 is an awesome device with plenty of power to give you an excellent vape. If you are looking for a mod that gives you the variable wattage option only, this is the right pick for you. However, if you enjoy the variable voltage option, you would be better served by a different device.

    Hi guys. This is my no nonsense review of the itaste 134. I bought one of these for a lucrative price thinking this was going to be the latest greatest device i had ever come across. Hmmmmm.
    Let me start with the positives;
    It looks amazing. Its big its heavy its real quality steel parts and its design are all fantastic. The computer drive chip is high quality and functions well (i have had not one problem with it firing or holding wattage etc).
    It is a great use while at home device.
    HOWEVER!
    Now for the negatives;
    Its too big! You cant just put this in your pocket and walk down the street with it. Its so heavy it pulls your pants down.
    The price is far too expensive for what you get. You can get a sub ohm box mod these days that fires at 50 or even 100 watts for the same price or less.
    It doesnt have a screen that informs you of settings battery life etc. (For this price i want it too tell me everything.
    It only goes up to 12 watts (very limiting)
    As for the tank it comes with…
    It is the worst tank EVER! It leaks, the vapor production is terrible, and when the juice gets low you have to turn it upside down to keep your wick wet. For such a high priced mod i would expect a quality tank to come with it.
    Overall IN MY OPINION;
    If you want to show off to your mates go get one.
    If you want functionality from a high end device look at getting something else.
    Mine sits on the shelf looking pretty

    It is probably my fault but this is not the device I should have got. It doesn’t do what I wanted it to do and I returned it. Good thing was that the store took it back and gave me a box mod. I guess my advice to the fellow newbies, is know what you’re buying before you buy it.

    I just wanted a VV device only and this did well. I loved it and it is still in my vape stable to this date.

    Not sure where to start. This is the best apv I’ve used to day. This one takes the cake 100%. It looks so sick and is so solid. You can feel the weight and quality when you hold it. I can’t say enough good things about it.

    I think this is a sick mod and the briefcase I got mine in made me fall in love. Well at least admire it. I’ve used it and it’s a work of art and worth every penny
